Childcare Program
serves low-income families with comprehensive childcare services.
Fees are assessed on a sliding scale or families are referred through the CCS programs of
the Texas Workforce Commission, the School Districts serving teen parents, the
Community College District and the San Antonio Housing Authority.
Hours of Service: 7:00a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Ages Served: 8 weeks through 11 years.
Full Day, Part-Day and After-School Care provided.
Summer Enrichment and Recreation Program:
Serves children in the Zip Code 78207 and some surrounding areas.
Children Served are ages 6-13.
Hours are 9:00a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
The ten-week program operates in June and July and ends in August.
Lunch and Snack provided through the City of San Antonio Summer Nutrition Program.
Affordable Housing:
Six apartment complexes in San Antonio serve low-income elderly adults and adults who
are disabled or are recovering mentally ill residents.

Social Services:
Information and referral are offered as well as infant supplies for residents in the 78207
neighborhood surrounding the agency. Citizens experiencing the need for emergency
assistance with infant supplies may call the main telephone number (210) 222 - 9641
Volunteers in Mission:
Groups from community organizations, churches in the city of San Antonio and in Texas
and surrounding states are recruited to work at the center in the summer and through the
school year. Volunteers assist in maintaining the center facilities as well as assist in
program support and direct program activities.
Adolescent Substance Abuse Treatment:
Services are anticipated to resume operation in south Bexar County. The facility is
currently undergoing installation of a new aerobic septic system.
